💨 Abstract
A farmer in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, discovered a collection of weapons, including matchlock rifles and swords, possibly from the 1857 rebellion. The items, possibly linked to the Rohilla culture of the Mughal period, might have been used by revolutionaries during the uprising and hidden in the ground. One rifle was found still loaded with gunpowder.
