💨 Abstract
Junior doctors in Kolkata continued their sit-in protest overnight, following their call-off of a 'total cease work' on Friday. They accused police of lathi-charging during a rally to seek justice for a deceased female doctor. The doctors threatened a hunger strike if their demands, including removal of Health Secretary N S Nigam and accountability for health department corruption, are not met within 24 hours.
