💨 Abstract
Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, an esteemed alumnus and faculty member of Panjab University's Department of Economics, passed away at 92. He delivered the first S B Rangnekar memorial lecture in 2018 and donated books to the Guru Teg Bahadur Bhavan Library. Singh's academic achievements at the university included standing first in his class for both his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Economics.
