Harinder Singh, a BJP candidate and former government employee, won the Hodal constituency in the Haryana assembly elections, defeating Haryana Congress president Udai Bhan. Singh, backed by Union minister Krishan Pal Gurjar, plans to bring big factories to his constituency to create employment. Aditya Devi Lal, an INLD leader, won from Dabwali, promising to tackle the drug menace and create employment.
