In Ludhiana, a woman and her three daughters were publicly shamed by their employer and others, with their faces blackened and placards stating they were thieves. The incident occurred at a factory on Bahadurke road. Police registered a case against the factory owner, manager, and a man who recorded the event. The Punjab State Child Rights Protection Commission and Women Commission have taken notice and ordered strict action against the accused.
