A woman, posing as a railway ticket checker, allegedly swindled a retired Army man in Pune, promising jobs and claiming her husband was a BSF trooper. The woman, identified as Sanjivani Patane, and her associate, Shubham Mode, have been booked by the Wanowrie police station. The man was deceived into paying money for the false promises. He filed a complaint after realizing he had been defrauded.
