💨 Abstract

A 30-year-old woman died during a sterilization procedure at Shaktidham Hospital in Thane, Maharashtra. Her family accused the hospital of medical negligence, claiming she was suffering from kidney stones. The hospital officials stated that she was given proper treatment and was being transferred to a private hospital for advanced care due to sudden complications. The KDMC's medical health officer rejected the allegation of negligence.
