💨 Abstract

A 24-year-old woman in Bengaluru died after self-immolation due to blackmailing by her uncle, Praveen Singh (42), who had her private photos and videos. The incident occurred on January 12 when Singh demanded the woman to meet him at a hotel. When she refused, he threatened to share the videos with her parents, forcing her to take the drastic step. Police have arrested Singh.
