On October 9, a 40-year-old woman named Sujata Dere was fatally attacked by a leopard in Junnar tehsil of Pune district, India. The incident occurred in a soybean field near her house at Mauje Pimpri Pendhar. Her husband attempted to rescue her, but the leopard dragged her into the field. Despite immediate aid, Sujata succumbed to her injuries.
