In the first phase of Jharkhand assembly elections, women voters outnumbered men, with a higher turnout in 37 out of 43 seats. The overall voter turnout was 66.65%, a 2.75% increase from the 2019 elections. The Election Commission reported that women surpassed men's turnout by 4.8%.
