💨 Abstract
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has announced that the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT) will not be moved for the upcoming Pune-Nashik rail project. Instead, the rail project alignment will be changed. The GMRT, which is located near Narayangaon, 60 km from Pune, is a significant scientific facility that belongs to 23 countries and cannot be easily relocated.
