💨 Abstract
A train ticket examiner (TTE) in Mumbai's Western Railway was suspended for making a passenger write an apology after a language dispute. The incident, which occurred at Nallasopara station, led to a protest by around 70 to 80 passengers. An inquiry has been ordered, and the TTE, Rakesh Mourya, has been suspended. The railway authorities have emphasized their commitment to respecting all languages and passengers.
