đź’¨ Abstract
Scientists from the Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) have used DNA metabarcoding to discover tiny, wasp-like creatures (Idris, Odontacolus, and Baeus) that prey on spider eggs. This is the first time this advanced technique has been used to study these relationships directly from spider egg sacs. The team identified 28 types of small creatures, 14 of which were confirmed as predators.
