The article discusses the safety concerns faced by women solo travelers and outdoor professionals in India, particularly inadequate infrastructure, lack of female guides, and sexual harassment. A survey reveals that route security, physical comfort, vehicle breakdowns, and sexual harassment are major concerns for women adventure travelers. The need for improved infrastructure, gender sensitivity training, and women-friendly gear is emphasized to ensure women's safety in adventure travel.
