💨 Abstract

Terrorist groups are increasingly leveraging advanced technologies, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), to enhance their capabilities and outmaneuver state security measures. AI enables terrorists to improve attack methods, disseminate propaganda, and recruit followers more effectively. Key challenges for counter-terrorism efforts include identifying AI-generated manipulated content, managing mass radicalization on social media, and addressing the proliferation of AI-enabled drones.
