💨 Abstract

Aurel Stein, a Hungarian-British archaeologist, undertook an expedition in 1940 to document archaeological sites along the dried Ghaggar River in the upper Ghaggar region, covering the distance from Haryana to Sindh. Although much of his data remained unpublished, his findings paved the way for future research that helped establish a timeline and cultural sequence of the region.
