In Kerala, Muslim organizations such as the Students Islamic Organisation of India and Jamaat-e-Islami are at the forefront of combating Islamophobia, but they are also accused of championing political Islam. These organizations often blame the Bharatiya Janata Party and Left for Islamophobia, yet they refuse to acknowledge their own role in fanning it.
