💨 Abstract
Three new criminal laws, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, were introduced three months ago, despite apprehensions of confusion due to simultaneous operation with the Indian Penal Code. The laws aim to have a decolonised, Indian version of the law, reflecting the country's ethos and values.
