The National People's Party (NPP) has withdrawn support from the BJP-led government in Manipur due to the deteriorating law and order situation and the government's failure to resolve the crisis. Seven NPP MLAs, including Khetrigao MLA Sheikh Noorul Hassan and Oinam MLA Irengbam Nalini Devi, have withdrawn their support.
