The Mahayuti government in Maharashtra has taken over 146 decisions within a month, including populist moves and infrastructure projects, ahead of the model code of conduct. The decisions include a salary increase for madrasa teachers and approval for three new private universities. The opposition questions the timing of these decisions, as they were not taken in the previous two years.
