On Bal Thackeray's birth anniversary, both Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath Shinde, leaders of the divided Shiv Sena, addressed separate rallies and asserted their party's continued relevance. Shinde, who is no longer the Chief Minister, emphasized growth and reaching every household, while Uddhav Thackeray criticized Shinde and hinted at his faction possibly fighting solo in the upcoming local body polls.
