💨 Abstract
Researchers have found that bats are able to avoid collisions when emerging in large numbers by emitting shorter distance signals at higher frequencies and increasing their distance from the cave and each other within five seconds. Scientists from the US and Singapore have developed the world's smallest pacemaker, measuring just 1.8 mm in width and 3.5 mm in length, which can be inserted with an injection and is made entirely dissolvable.
