💨 Abstract
In a partial victory for former Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy, an employment tribunal ruled that he is entitled to receive the majority of his unpaid wages worth over 11 million pounds ($14.3 million), after City stopped paying him in September 2021. Mendy, who was acquitted of sexual offences, argued that City unlawfully deducted wages, while the club claimed it was due to his unavailability for work.
