💨 Abstract
The African Boxing Confederation (AFBC) President, Eyassu Wossen, has expressed support for the Russian-led International Boxing Association (IBA) against Olympic organizers who want a new global body for the sport to remain in future Games. The IBA was stripped of recognition by the IOC last year for failing to implement reforms and has been asked to join a new world body or lose boxing in the 2028 Los Angeles Games.
