The UCI has tightened safety rules in cycling, prohibiting teammates from celebrating their sprinter's victory in the sprint zone. Penalties include fines, yellow cards, loss of points, and demotions. The new rules aim to prevent riders from slowing down, staying within the line of other riders, celebrating, talking on the radio, or taking hands off handlebars during a sprint.
