Formula One owner Liberty Media appointed Derek Chang as its new CEO, effective Feb. Chang will lead Liberty's executive board and focus on enhancing investments in motorsports like F1 and MotoGP. He will also help in transferring Liberty Live Group into a public entity, allowing ownership of Live Nation Entertainment shares. Chang was the CEO of NBA China and has worked with DIRECTV, Charter Communications, and the YES Network.
