Magnus Carlsen won his seventh Norway Chess title. Fabiano Caruana finished second by defeating India's D Gukesh in the final round. Gukesh finished third, and Arjun Erigaisi was fifth. In the women's section, Anna Muzychuk won, despite a tie-breaker loss to India's R. Vaishali. The Norway Chess format awards points based on wins, draws, and tie-breakers.
