💨 Abstract
The Hockey India League (HIL) 2026 will commence on January 5, announced by Bhola Nath Singh, the secretary general of Hockey India. The men's league will maintain eight teams, while the women's league will expand to six teams next year. The tournament's venues are still under consultation. Singh also clarified that all player dues have been settled and refuted rumors to the contrary.
