💨 Abstract
Red Bull Formula One team has simulated their Las Vegas race track eight billion times to prepare Max Verstappen for his fourth consecutive title. They use Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to run simulations and plan strategies, with the goal of scoring the highest number of points possible while managing potential surprises. The team also builds its own engines and uses high-performance computing in development simulation. Race simulations are run throughout the year, particularly when major decisions are needed, such as engine penalties.
