💨 Abstract

MotoGP has announced that motorcycle manufacturers will use their 2025 engines in the 2026 season, with the engine capacity reducing from 1,000cc to 850cc in the 2027 season. This decision is aimed at controlling costs and maintaining a level playing field. Exceptions will be made only for safety or reliability issues, with no performance increase allowed.
