Neeraj Chopra, the Indian javelin thrower who won the silver medal at the Paris Olympics in 2024, has been named the world's best male javelin thrower of the year by 'Track and Field News'. He beat out two-time world champion Anderson Peters of Grenada for the top spot in the 2024 rankings. Chopra finished fourth in the Paris Diamond League, while Peters won three Diamond League events.
