💨 Abstract
The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) announced a new women's league, the Women's Lacrosse League (WLL), set to debut next year. The league will feature four teams playing in an Olympic Sixes format on a smaller field. The host cities and play dates are yet to be announced. The WLL aims to capitalize on the growing interest in women's sports and lacrosse's inclusion in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
