Saudi Arabia's Yazeed Al-Rajhi leads the Dakar Rally for the first time after stage nine, surpassing Henk Lategan who experienced two punctures. Al-Rajhi finished third, behind Nasser Al-Attiyah, while Lategan dropped to 11th. Al-Rajhi now leads by seven minutes and nine seconds.
