American Seth Quintero leads the Dakar Rally after the race favorites slowed to secure better conditions for Sunday's 48-hour Chrono stage in the Saudi Arabian desert. Quintero, who finished behind French driver Guerlain Chicherit, was promoted due to time lost assisting another driver.
