In the Dakar Rally, Toyota's Henk Lategan reclaimed the overall lead on Wednesday, having a 2-minute, 27-second advantage over Yazeed Al-Rajhi. Lategan's strategic race allowed him to gain enough time to retake the lead while avoiding a high finish in the 10th stage to benefit from the tyre tracks of the early starters.
