At the BCCI Special General Meeting in Mumbai on January 12, Devajit Saikia and Prabhtej Singh Bhatia were elected unopposed as secretary and treasurer, respectively. The positions were vacant due to Jay Shah becoming ICC chairman and Ashish Shelar resigning after being appointed as a cabinet minister in the Maharashtra government.
