Japan, Iran, and South Korea had mixed results in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers on Tuesday. Japan defeated China 3-1, Iran edged out Kyrgyzstan 3-2, and South Korea drew 1-1 with Palestine. Japan leads Group C, while the top two teams from each group will qualify for the World Cup. Japan is on the verge of qualifying for their eighth consecutive finals.
