💨 Abstract
Olympic medalist Gagan Narang has encouraged athletes not nominated for this year's Khel Ratna Award to view it as a challenge for future success. He emphasized that medals, not awards, should be the ultimate goal for athletes. Narang acknowledged the difficulties the jury faces in selecting winners during an Olympic year. He also shared that athletes have realized the importance of their country above personal achievements. Narang expressed hope that suggestions made by the Mission Olympic Cell would be implemented soon.
