Coco Gauff, world number six, won the China Open final against unseeded Karolina Muchova 6-1 6-3, becoming the first player to win their first seven WTA hardcourt finals in the Open Era. Gauff added the Beijing trophy to her wins in Auckland and Cincinnati.
