💨 Abstract

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), once known for promoting diverse ideologies, is now facing accusations of eroding academic freedom, suppressing dissent, and becoming more right-leaning. The institution has been plagued by issues such as curbs on political activities, exclusion of underprivileged students due to high hostel and mess fees, and the suspension of a Left-wing student group.
