AI startup Anthropic is in advanced talks to raise $2 billion at a valuation of $60 billion, according to the Wall Street Journal. The funding round is led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Anthropic was previously valued at $18 billion. Amazon.com has also doubled its investment in Anthropic to $8 billion. The company did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
