💨 Abstract
Apple has appealed against a British government order to create a backdoor in its most secure cloud storage systems, in response to demands for access to user data. The move followed Apple's removal of its most advanced security encryption for cloud data in Britain last month. This allows Apple to access certain iCloud backups, such as copies of iMessages, which it couldn't with end-to-end encryption.
