ASML, a leading computer chip equipment maker, experienced a global IT systems outage on Friday. The issue has been resolved, and the cause is currently under investigation. Some employees worked remotely during the outage. This is the second IT-related incident for ASML in the past month, as they prematurely released their third-quarter earnings last month due to a technical error.
