💨 Abstract
Apple is in discussions with Barclays to potentially replace Goldman Sachs as its credit card partner, as Goldman steps back from consumer finance. Synchrony Financial is also reportedly in talks with Apple. Negotiations have been ongoing for several months, but a deal may take more time. Goldman's CEO recently indicated the credit card partnership with Apple could end sooner than expected. JPMorgan Chase has also been in talks with Apple about the business.
