Sony is in talks to acquire Kadokawa, a Japanese publishing, anime, and gaming powerhouse. Kadokawa owns "Elden Ring" developer FromSoftware and controls a significant share in the anime and manga market. If the deal goes through, it will strengthen Sony's entertainment portfolio and boost their presence in the growing anime market, which is expected to double to $60 billion by 2030.
