Meta Platforms, the parent company of Facebook, announced the addition of three new board members: Dana White, CEO of UFC, Charlie Songhurst, a former Microsoft executive, and John Elkann, CEO of Exor. White, a close friend of Donald Trump, has spoken in support of his candidacy at Republican conventions. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated that these new members will provide expertise to help tackle opportunities in AI, wearables, and human connection.
