💨 Abstract
Elon Musk's social media platform X has requested to resume services in Brazil after paying off $5.24 million in pending fines imposed by the Supreme Court. The platform had been suspended since August for failing to comply with court orders related to hate speech moderation and not having a legal representative in the country. After obeying the orders and blocking certain accounts, X initially asked to resume service in September but was denied until the fines were paid.
