💨 Abstract
OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, has secured $6.6 billion in funding from investors like Thrive Capital and Tiger Global. In addition to capital, OpenAI is asking investors to avoid funding its five perceived competitors, including Anthropic and Elon Musk's xAI. OpenAI's co-founder Ilya Sutskever's new company, Safe Superintelligence (SSI), is also on the list.
