PayPal allows U.S. merchants to buy, hold, and sell cryptocurrency from their business accounts. This move comes after bitcoin ETFs were approved by the U.S. PayPal joined the cryptocurrency market in 2020, and its services, excluding New York State, will include transferring cryptocurrency on chain to third-party wallets. Shares of the company have gained 26% so far this year.
