💨 Abstract
Samsung Electronics plans to buy back shares worth 10 trillion won ($7.17 billion) over a year to boost shareholder value, following a drop in share prices. The company will cancel 50.14 million common shares and 6.91 million preferred shares in the next three months. This is Samsung's first share buyback since 2017.
